這是幫我男友問的，他是哥倫比亞人 在中國讀大學和工作，現在是自己的 作，在IT support工作，他想去香港工作，但是面 了幾個大公司，都不錄用他，公司都 說他學歷和經驗都不錯，但是就是不 用他，其中一個 公司解釋說他們想錄用的條件是他的 侶是香港，他很開心，請他不開心， 問香港公司真的不願意僱用外籍人士 嗎？申請過程複雜嗎？

The problem is that these roles are filled by locals already, So they don’t want the hassle of applying for a visa for him which will probably be rejected.

He has to have skills and experience not readily available in HK to have a chance.

if he can speak fluent mandarin and Spanish as well as English, the issue might be his personality fit.!
I work primarily in sales with little canto and only English; and have been hired by local companies or companies with local culture.
maybe your br is giving some vibes that doesn’t fit the culture that hk requires.!
Skills that you listed if he’s good at it he can find work pretty easily; there are still plenty of companies hiring.
