Having proof of income for her could be the only trouble as she won't have a payslip for the first few weeks (if not months, if they are as bad as some of these schools I've heard about).

Presumably she has a contract though? That should suffice for the application.

It's a serviced studio, so only one room, about 200sq', shit'n'shower etc. No cable but wireless net and amenities incl. But quite modern and nice. And clean!

But prices are coming down I hear. If you get shown around say you really want a cheaper place. They always show you the shittiest and most expensive ones first, hoping someone will pay it.
But I have to say, the lady who showed us the place did swing us a great deal.
