    advice on working holiday visa

    hi,

i keep hearing/seeing people mention working holiday visa's for hong kong. i am currently on a dependent visa but have some short-term job opportunities (some within my current field and some not).

    i have 3 questions:

    1. i am 31 in April - can i still get a working holiday visa?

    2. are there likely to be any issues of i was offered a longterm contract/sponsorship?

    3. can i go back on a dependents visa once the working holiday visa expires?

i know i can just ask the immigration department but as i am sure some of you know most government departments just give you the official scripted answer without much consideration for your specific circumstances...i am also keen to hear what other people have done.

    thanks!
p.s. i am british citizen...in case that makes any difference (good or bad :-))

    1. No, both on grounds of age (>25) and Citizenship (not Australian, NZ or Irish)
    The rest are therefore irrelevant.
