    I just saw a news on Reuters today about the effect of living near landfills (Title: Infection risk in kids living near landfills).

    Living near a hazardous waste site containing persistent pollutants such as dioxins, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and chlorinated pesticides, seems to increase the risk of hospitalization for respiratory infections and asthma in children, a study in New York suggests. Full article at url:

    TKO is relatively humidity than other places. Regarding pollution, though it is not the only place to encounter the pollution problem, obviously it is worse than most of the other places because of its landscape.
