Wow 400 voters and +25% spend more than 30% of their household income in their rent. That's rather big.
I think the poll scale is miss-leading, I'm bunched together with reasonable people that put ~30% on rent. I should be on freaking 50%+ category

Not by my own choosing though, I got 1 amount as salary and 1 amount for housing. Housing is bigger than salary.. ..well at least I got a fantastic view

wow no wonder some locals are loaded off the property market. Over 60% of us are willing to spend more than 20%(!!) of their income to pay off someone else's property and walk away eventually with nothing but a memory of a smoggy view
A lot of people have no desire to buy nor do they even think about it.
In the states and here. Don't know about elsewhere.
Well, horses for courses. Personally it would drive me nuts knowing that I would be paying off other peoples mortgages for the rest of my life.
