'happening' place to live for single expats?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light into an area which might be better suited for single expats who work in central and Wanchai, while dont want to live too far from work, dont want to be so far away from where the city life is.

More space would be very nice, easy transportation to be found, and some nightlife without it being too 'shady' of an area.

Budget is around 15-25k for 2brdrm

Not sure you get all of those and "more space" but Sheung Wan would appear to be closest.... (I discount Midlevels on account of not being that close to the MTR to Wan Chai!)

1) although wanchai is known for it's night time "seediness" it isn't really. it's also very safe.
2) transportation is abundant in about 99% of hk.
3) nightlife on hk island is centred on: Lan Kwai Fong/central (more upscale) and wanchai
4) $15-25K is a large variation, you may want to narrow it down a little
5) space is one thing that is in extremely short supply in hk, unless you move WAY out, so you may want to give up on that idea

you can look anywhere from Tai Koo Shing to Sheung Wan. you should have no problem meeting at least 4 out of your 5 requirements.

Both Caine Road and Robinson Road have multiple frequent buses running down to Wanchai.
