My wife and I are taking a break from work (in UK) and looking for a 1 bedroom close to Central. We would only need it for ~ 2months (Oct - Dec) and are looking to pay 20-30k/month.

I've gone through multiple websites, etc... and it seems there's a good bunch of horror stories. So was hoping for some recommendations from yourselves...

Ideally a new'ish place, non-smoking with decent amenities. Flat can be on the smallish side (e.g., 600sq ft). Ideal with gym, but not a must.

Helpful if in an area with lots of restaurant choices nearby.

We've travelled tons and are happy to "mingle" with locals (and can likely adjust pretty easily!).

Any suggestions - much appreciated!
