needed: Cheap accomodation for two people Jan 18-31

Hello there. My friends are coming to visit me and unfortunately I don't have room to put them up in my tiny apartment.

They're on a really tight budget, so they were looking for someone to sublet or rent out a place for 2 weeks jan 18 to 31.

I've checked with the hostels, but I was wondering if there are any other options.

Must be located somewhere between Sheung wan and causeway bay.

Any ideas where to look?

budget would probably be cheap, something like 2000-2500 each for the two weeks. i guess that means somewhere around 5000 total, with some room for movement.

spaceman, good luck but honeslty, I don't even know of maids quarters that go that low.

If you take a reservation for less than four weeks, you need to be licensed as a hotel and pay additional taxes from what I figure.

Use this directory and call the guest houses. There should be something in the $300/day range with two single beds.
