You're missing a category for the substantial number of people who pay (or whose employer pays) more than $80,000.

thanks, it is a good idea BB, but my intention was to find out average rent being paid by expatriates in a certain area. For example, how many expatriates in sheung wan are paying 12-18K, whereas they actually should be able to find flats for a lot less than that.. etc. etc..

And also the original intention was to actually make this poll get 3-4 different answers. like:

    1) how much you pay?
    2) which area is it in?
    3) did you negotiate before renting or not?
    4) Is your company paying your rent?

    but anyway, it's a start, i guess.

i wish shri would get off his drunken stupor and add ability for multi-step polls. where you ask several questions based on each answer to get a more complete poll. WTF are you doing shri???? Why the face shri????

Well if we were that keen we could always use survey monkey and link to a poll ... actually the ability to show real-time updates from a survey monkey poll would be a great addition, and much easier than changing geo's poll function.

Well if anyone was that keen they could always set up a poll in Survey Monkey and link to it...

Although the ability to show updated results from a Survey Monkey poll in realtime would be a great addition to Geo - and probably much easier than changing geo's poll function!

    How about it Shri?

PS - I keep losing my posts ... I get gateway errors after typing and then have to do it all over again ... GRRR.
