    hi all...

tower 1 flat D has been my favourite for a long time... i hope i can get my deal finalised soon. i just found out that there has been discussion about bellagio here... its awesome...

    i have some question though,

any idea of the construction of tsing lung bridge ? the one that run from tuen mun highway to tungchung area ?

anyone living at tower 1 D ? will it get incredibly hot during the summer ?

    thanks

I did hesitate a lot myself too between a Tower 1 D unit and Tower 1 B unit, finally settling for a 'B' unit.
You may want to consider the following topics when deciding:

    - the smallest of the bedroom in Unit D has a very close neighbor, making privacy difficult unless you close curtains all day
    - the 2nd smallest bedroon of unit D also has some (more distant) neighbours directly visible from towers 8-6) - again, you will have to close curtains all day
    - the living room of the D unit is smaller than the B, and some valuable space is eaten up by the balcony.
    - all bedrooms and living room in the B units have aboslute privacy; from there you can only see seaview and Ma Wan and the bridge
    - the living room in the B unit is squarer and larger, making it look much bigger than the D unit, and making it more convenient to decorate and plan
    - the master bedroom of the D unit has a dead angle to your left when entering - you can only build a wardrobe in there and this will eat up a 1/4 of the room area
    - finally and most importantly, the D units face West, making them hotter in summer; you will also have less wind coming in thru the windows
The B unit, on the other hand, faces South and enjoys most breeze (HK has mostly southern breezes in summer).

After lengthy considerations, I settle for a high floor B unit - am still amazed at the views, and the nice breeze coming in from the south.

    Enjoy Bellagio!

Finally as promised, some pictures taken from my Bellagio Tower 1 appartment on a beautiful day (still a bit foggy though) - with HK Island in the background.

The views at night with the buildng lights and the illuminated Tsing Ma bridge are even more impressive....!

By the way, the last picture is Park Island, the only buildings visible from my place. Otherwise, it is 180 degree seaviews from Tsing Yi, HK, Lamma, to Lantau. Unique in HK.

For a monthly rental of around HKD 20,000+, is this not a Secret Garden?

Wow you must be on a high floor - we are on 49 and have a similar outlook but can't see over the hill to the city.

It really was beautiful here today - I took some pictures too but they are too big to post, I hope they come out as nice as yours.

We went walking up at the reservoir which was so quiet before coming down and enjoying the evening sun on the promenade. Really hope it is this nice tomorrow.

I also plan to ask the management to move some of the pool loungers up onto the podium or the other end of the bbq area - nobody ever uses that space after the morning tai chi and it would be so nice to sit out there on days like today and read etc. Bet they wont but worth suggesting it.

If you are paying 20k+ then we are getting a bargain at 2/3 the price also for a 3brm - dreading the contract renewal but there are still heaps of empty apartments in towers 2 & 3 that I can see so hopefully it will be ok.

    Hi larac

    You mean you're paying HKD13k+ for a 3-bedroom unit?

What are the differences among type A, B, C and D?

Do you know whether anymore units in Tower A for rent?

    Thank you.
