Flat Search: Austin Station area

i'm looking to rent a flat... was wondering if anyone knows a good realtor i can contact today? the last time i checked in this area to buy/rent the realtors were all snobs who wouldn't help us since it wouldn't give them a big enough commission i suppose.

particulars:
- looking for kowloon station or austin station area
- budget is under $18K (preferably closer to $15K)
- preferably estate with gym/pool, but might consider something without if much larger or better location
- 1 or 2 bedroom (600 sqft or more)
- preferably higher floors to escape the noise of cars


I saw some ads online for Victoria Towers....is this a good one? Possible in my budget?

Ok.... Just met a few agents and it seems Victoria towers (and Kowloon station flats as well) are all $20k minimum.

Anyone recommend decent places close to Austin station for under 18k?

no one has thoughts or recommendations for anything within a 10-15 min walk to Austin MTR?

i saw Jade Suites....nice and new building, decent location next to temple street and close to austin, decent prices, but they only have mini fridges and the building is currently empty...no residents. and i cant find any reviews online. anyone know about this one?

or anyone have other recommendations for buildings with flats under 18K?

As the government is rushing for the high speed train project, you may notice that there are a number of contuction sites near austin station at the moment.

I would suggest you to look for area with one station further such as the olympic or hung hom, where you would have better options and better agents.

If you would like to stick to this region, you may find a number of reasonable priced flats near ferry street;

Jade suite is a new development and recently released for sales only. I'm not sure if there's any openning for rent. You may also look for the Prosperous Garden near Jade Suite, which is also a nice environment.

There are plenty of places for under $18k in the area but you won't get clubhouse facilities and it will be much older.

There are not many choices in the area with clubhouse facilities. Best bet would be to go Olympic station area and you will be able to get something under 18k.

the closest place that fulfill your requirement is in the Olympic MTR station area.
You can get a nice club house, ~600 sqft at under but close to 18k/mth.
The area is only 1 station to Kowloon station, and there is Public Light Bus bypassing Austin Station.

When do you need it? I know there is an offering (very high floor zone) but seems only available half year later.

I live in one of these buildings. 8k, 2 BR about 550 sq ft. No clubhouse facilities but only 10 mins to Jordan/ Austin Station (it's in the middle). PM me if you want more details.
