Hello,
I will be off to Hong Kong next month for a new job. Aside from the property ads here at geoexpat and at gohome, are there newspapers that carry property lease advertisments by owners (not by agents)? If so, which (English or Cantonese language) newspapers have them?
I would appreciate any leads. Thanks everyone!

Newspaper ads... not common for owners to advertise in there.
In my observation, they would rather pay the estate agent than spend a little bit time marketing their property themselves.
One thing, take a look at the ads in the various grocery stores (park n shop and welcome) in your neighbourhood -- they usually have owner ads and will specifically state "no agents".

It's also a case of buyers preferring the security of dealing with an agent. SCMP does have a handful of owner listings from time to time.
