1 month stay in HK

I will possibly doing work experience with a company in kowloon tong for a month in august/september which I'm really excited about!
I would like to find accomm for under $6000HKD is possible, I know there are a few places like W studios but they are on HK island and if anyone knows anything around Kowloon or even in the new territories in my price range I would be really grateful, I could possibly afford a little more but want to try to keep under 6000 if possible.

Other avenue I was going to look at is house sitting (i guess apartment sitting for 90% of HK), does this happen when people go away? I have a lot of experience house sitting and this could be so convenient if someone was going to be away in the timeframe I'm actually in Hong Kong... any ideas/suggestions please let me know.

that means usually you have your own room, but you have to share kitchen, bathroom etc with your roommate.

I have just moved into a huge flat (1300 squares) in Mid-levels on Hong Kong island. I am there by myself for a few months until my friend moves in and was after a temporary sharemate.
