hi i am an agent specialised in island south. undenieable 101/109 is the heart of repulse bay. have they mention that they are going to go through renovation at the of year. parkview is very convenient if you dont mind living in the cloud most of time. pacific view is allright if it is not too far for your activities & net use square footage are low.

1583897]Moving with my family in Aug (3 kids 9-14 yrs old + dog). Have narrowed my apartment search to 101/109 RB, Parkview, Pacific View. All OK for school/work commuting although we're trying to avoid having a car.

Currently on the waiting list for 101/109 RB, but not sure it is better to wait or move on one of the other choices.

Suggestions on any of these apartment choices are greatly appreciated![/QUOTE]

we went with 109 RB - 3 BR + Study openned up so we went for it. Good luck!

Thanks for the update...negotiating on a combined unit in RB 109 - lots of unnecessary space...like two kitchens...that we have to pay for by the square foot....making Parkview look like the better option. Would LOVE for someone to give me a real time commute time from Parkview to Central at 6am and central to Parkview at 6pm....
Is your apartment in Nicholson? if so what was your wait time on the list PLEASE?

OMG. Just read this post. We are in the same situation. I would love RB 109/101 but am being told I won't get a place for a while. Does anyone have any idea of what the wait time could be? Also the pricing is just crazy (in my opinion) is it just us expats payin these crazy rents?

OK it's nice but there are heaps of other nice places in Hong Kong! Are you actually here or checking from overseas? If you're not already here, you should wait and take a look around in person. And no, it's not just expats paying "these crazy rents".
