    Well what's your budget?

Are you considering an apartment near MTR stations? What about Tsuen Wan?

You can rent something of good size and very affordable in South Lantau. Try HomeSolutions. Good luck!

Get on the lrt from tuen Mun to lam tei. Get off at every village and go to the agencies. You will find many village houses, 700 feet, often with roof, walk to lrt for 5-7k given how many times I've posted this info I still shake my head when I see people gibbering about bloody fanling or south lantau for fs sake.

it's matter of choice, just like why some prefer to live in TKO or Tung Chung or even remote Tap Mun

there are many benefits to living in fanling/shueng shui as oppose to living in Tuen Mun, in fact, it seems to be slightly more popular choice than Tuen Mun, btw, how often do find any types of modern accommodations WITHOUT any roofs?

Haha did you think they actually meant no roof on the building at all? That'd be brilliant in a rainstorm. Now I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure they're talking about a rooftop which is accessible and can be used for - well, whatever you can think of doing on a rooftop. Dancing perhaps.
