A nice before and after story from 3 years ago.
Hi, thank you all for the suggestions. Anyone can give an overview of the gym and pool facilities at the Arch? Also GEOFF, Harbourview looks nice as well, what are the gym and pool facilities like?
which one would you pick between the two? I know that its expensive but location is key.
thank you much!
I think Arch/Elements are an interesting place to live. Close and convenient with some amenities. I imagine the view of the skyline must be awesome some nights. If you have kids and don't mind the commute, than D.Bay is a fun place to live. We would have considered it if my wife wasn't easily seasick (yes, the ferries when we visit there usually make her quite uneasy).
My only concern about the Arch is air quality. Yes, it's rough all over HK, but being next to a rather large shipping area adds to the problems. I don't think there is a government monitoring station near there (well, TST or MongKok) but other stations closer to the port facilities like Kwai Chung frequently go over the limits on things like sulphur dioxide. You might want to dig a bit into that if it is something that concerns you.

Hello everyone!
What do you think of Laguna Verde in Hung Hom?? I think for 30-40K you'll get the luxury there... and green and good for kids, some kindergartens, pools, seaview...
No?
I've stayed over at the Arch for 2 weeks. The view of the skyline is breathtaking, but it gets old fast. The clubhouse is AMAZING. The pool is hardly ever occupied and faces a wall-to-ceiling window of the skyline view. The gym also has a harbour view with state of the art equipment (mini TV screens on the treadmills). Gym for badminton, pool and table tennis rooms requires a charge for rental. There's also a garden and balcony seating that faces the harbour which is a nice place to have friends over for drinks. The greatest thing about it all is that there's rarely more than a handful of people using the facilities at a time.
