Looking for Furnished/Serviced Apartment

Hi all

I am moving back to Hong Kong after spending a bit of time there in 2008 and I can not believe how much the cost of accomodation has gone up in the last three years!

My employer are being rather tight with both my contract and relocation (i.e. not giving me one) so my budget is really in the $14-$18k max range.

Preferred location is on the island either in Wanchai or Causeway Bay but would stretch to North Point or Central if the place was right.

I have tried all sorts of websites and submit forms but really struggling now. I arrive on 14th January and it is a full time contract so want something that is a fairly decent size and reasonably modern.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

What about LOHAS park? It's a relatively new apartment complex with clubhouse an everything. Only con is that its in the tseung kwan o area. But subway it'd take around 30mins to travel to and from work. But with a budget of 18k would get ur a decent flat. 18k for a place on the island might be relatively low.

It's advertised on here and ive spoken to both the guy leaving and the guy staying, both English like me and around my age. Flat looks awesome.

Oh and im not tied into a long term lease either.
