    Lamma is great. Still great. Rent has gone up quite a lot though(well, as it's pretty much everywhere), snakes, centipedes, various insects for extra protein on your dinner plate if you have the guts. The closer to the pier the more expensive it is. Check out lamma.com.hk

    great for blaggin out of work early - if there's the slightest sniff of a typhon then u can make a bolt for the ferry..

    can be a bit claustraphobic tho... and watch who's "spot" u sit in on the ferry..

    and you will be paranoid about ferry schedules etc...

    maybe move to Sai Kung unless you really want a dog on a string and thai style pants....

    yes the OP should be sensing that the ferry is a recurring theme with lamma- especially if you like going out late....

    and those centipedes are scary- especially if they in your house..

    if you havent seen one - imagine 25 cockroaches doing the conga.....
