Accomodation ideas in Kwun Tong

hello everybody !!
it looks like i will move to hk beginning 2008, with 1yr-old baby and husband. i will be working in kwun tong, kowloon.
i am now looking for a nice place to live. i liked the gold coast environment but it is probably to far from kwun tong. do you know something similar but nearer to my office ? i would like to be able to walk in a nice environment with my baby after work, we all love the sea and green areas...

Kwun Tong = Industrial. Nothing is really "nice" there.

Take a look at Tseung Kwan O or even Clear Water Bay. Tseung Kwan O if you want to get a place that is tall, has clubhouse and close to MTR.

Clear Water Bay if you want to live on the floor of a village house. No extra services, but low rise home and a little bit more green/water and beach close by. Not so good transport though.

laguna City would probably be your best choice. try to get the flats with a seaview.

u could either take the mtr to kwun tong which is the next stop or walk which would probably take you 15-30 mins depending which part of kwun tong u would work.

For people who like harbour view, Phase 4 is the best choice. For people who like mountain view, Phase 3 is the best choice. For people who like closing to MTR station, Phase 2 is the best choice. For people who like closing to shopping mall and Laguna Park, Phase 1 is the best choice.

Exactly where I am.
If you don't like to walk they are green minibuses from Yau Tong MTR, LAM Tin MTR and Kwun Tong MTR (HK$2.20). Also if you are in APM after 6:00 PM you can take the shuttle bus.

Hi , you might also want to consider Metro TOwn which is just above Tiu Keng Leng MTR, which is like 3 stations aways from Kwun Tong. Metro Town was launched beginning of this year (or probably end 2006), thus, you find that the apartment is very new. It has all the ameninites you required (supermarket, pharmacy, clinics, wet market, eateries). Alternatively, you can also consider Ocean SHore which is next to Metro Town. However the apartments are several years old. Hope it helps =)
