    contact information

    Hi,
I am currently looking for a place to stay in Hong Kong with my boyfriend, and it seems like Harbourfront Horizon is a good chioce with regard to price and location.
However as I live in Denmark I am searching for an e-mail address with which I can contact management and recieve an offer.. Is this even possible? or do I need to call the hotline number?

    Thank you!

It appears that they are more expensive on their website. Im in Causeway bay and am looking for a place..
    I found this:

    $5500 / 2br - Hung Hom - TST - Harbourfront Horizon - 700 sqf - Hong Kong apartment for rent - Gumtree Hong Kong

Its cheaper than what they advertise anywhere else.

Nanonutty, You did realize that this was a private add you were linking to?
I guess someone needs to get out there but does not want to break the lease due to the 1 month rent penalty.
    Just my guess though

not to mention that Ad is for "one" room...so you are sharing the apartment.

Hi, yeah, I was wondering that; about the 1 room. Thought it might have been a typo from the advertiser. Im currently looking for a place to live for the next year, and when I googled Harbourfront Horizon, this thread came up, so I though I just put the link in.

    Hi guys,

I might be checking this place out sometime soon. Are the apartments not owned by individual landlords like most places? I.e. is the whole place actually run like a hotel? Because I was under the impression most HK apartments in these estate things are owned by individual landlords and if anything needs repairing it is their responsibility (thinking of poor shin3000 here...).

Mind you, it's fully furnished isn't it so I guess it does look like more of a hotel...

It is a hotel concept so no individual landlords. So funny, last week I called them once to ask for rentals and I spoke Cantonese. Cheapest available was 15k and up for 2-Bt at HV and HF. 2 Hours later, I call again but this time in English and got another sales guy. Asked the same question and guess what: minimum price was 16,5k and up!! LoL!!
Seems like you have to negotiate HARD in that place

The sales desk at HarbourView Horizon is currently quoting HK$14,000 - 15,000 for a room there.

Any recent complains about the place??

All 5 treadmills in the gym are all broken and are unlikely to ever be fixed. Every time I ask i'm told it will be another 2 months for the parts to arrive from overseas.

I think everyone should make formal complaints to the Consumer Council, about misleading advertising, late refunds of electricty deposits, equipment not working, totally inappropriate actions when contracts are due, and so on. It seems like, despite numberous efforts to approach management, nothing has changed. You all pay, or have paid, a significant amount to stay there and you should not have to put up with such bad service.
