HK$80K budget- recommendations where to live?

Will be moving and be working around Central/Admiralty.- HK island side.

My husband and I will be moving, no kids yet. Ideally we can walk to work 15-20mins, even though we are aware of the very high humidity in HK... at least the 4 months which is less humid?

Ideally a 3 or 4 bedroom, with a pool and close to a grocery store.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Mid Levels, Old Peak Road, and surrounding areas.
    80 Robinson Road.

80 Robinson Road is nice, but location was I don't really like it. I might sound like a total douche now but I think it's a bit too far away from everything. Especially when you want to walk from central back home. I think you should look at nicer newly renovated old town houses in Soho/Sheung Wan area and maybe have a private jacuzzi or something instead.

Queens Garden (smaller units though), Albany and some other buildings in Mid Levels Central may fit your budget. Try also Star Crest in Wanchai.

80.000 for just two of you is good. We could only demand it if we had kids...

Gee only $80k pm for housing! The company didn't get you a relocation agent to go with that? Sounds tough...

Have you considered Tuen Mun? Come to Tuen Mun, on that budget both our families can move into apartments that fit your requirements and I'll drive you to work every day..

Just a thing I want to share, even if 80k a month is a fantastic sum of money, this is Hong Kong, forget that you can everything in one apartment, it will be a compromise. The requirements you have stated so far should be possible to satisfy though.

Robinson Road is extremely convenient to get down to Admiralty with bus. I'm not really sure though what buildings have a satisfactory pool size (since that seems to be important to you). Otherwise the best pool I've seen I think is down in Soho at Center Stage, you should check out that building. I think your budget is high enough to get one of the bigger apartments with a nice view there.

PM me if you want help with a real estate agent company that is really good, it can be very frustrating walking around with local agents as a westerner.
