    PS - I agree, Gold Coast seems also not a bad option for your criteria.

    When I wrote the previous post, I was thinking of the Gold Coast Residences in particular, which offer serviced apartments and also a direct resident bus to Central which does not take an hour.

    Unfortunately, while the serviced apartments still exist, the resident bus will be replaced by a bus to Olympic station instead from 1 september, so I cannot continue to recommend them. Based on just the 962 bus service, the commute would be too long, imho. Not sure what the one based on the bus to Olympic will be like, other than 'fing annoying.

    Thankfully I no longer work on HK Island.
