    Question Recommend a hotel?

hey guys... need your help again!

A friend of mine from Canada has decided to come visit me for 2 weeks, arriving at the end of the month. Now I live in Fan Ling in a village house and I'm not gonna subject her to what I'm going through, LOL, so she and I are gonna stay in a hotel somewhere... doesn't matter where as long as its not in NT!

Any suggestions? Whats the best bang for the buck? I'm not looking for Penninsula quality rooms or anything... just something decent and reasonably priced.

Looks like this girl is more than a friend,

how many rooms will the be, 1 or 2? Haahaaaa

Call any local travel agents if you know any, book hotels through them, its cheaper as they always get special prices. dont book directly through the hotel.

I'll help you find out if my local travel agent does hotel bookings in HK, I will send you a PM if she does.

Whats wrong with living in a village house, i live in one as well. Haahaaa

oh ya... she's the most awesomest friend ever

anyways, booked the Ramada for $614 a night from dec 27 - jan 2! which is a steal for the season! But she's here til the 12th... so we might be going on a trip for a couple of days after the 2nd... then be back for a couple before she leaves... so we're still open for suggestions for the last few days of her stay

Anyone got any ideas for a 3-5 days trip? How are the tours to Shanghai? or anywhere else?

    hey thanks man!

village house... I guess part of the reason is that I want to stay in the city for 2 weeks myself, lol. and the other part... well, I'm still not very use to having to shower right beside the toilet bowl (yup, I have one of those!)... so I think she'd die if she had to for 2 weeks! hmmm... well, if she pisses me off I'll bring her back here for a few days then, LOL

Do you know how much time u can save by having a crap, while at the same time you turn your shower on facing the toilet bowl and you brush your teeth as well. I tried that once while wasted. Haahaaa

3-5 day trip, If i were you i would go somewhere where its hot and not bloody cold. Shanghai's going to be freezing. Why dont you go to some beach resort in Thailand/Philippines or Bali. a few days of relaxing by the beach, a few beers, great food. Now thats a holiday.

I suggest a very reasonable hotel accommodation, convenient location, very near MTR and shops, friendly staff and excellent service...
Save more on hotel fees and get more pennies for your shopping and other stuff...
    i recommend shamrock hotel.
