Accomodation around Kwun Tong

I from Malaysia and will be moving to HK by end of Oct.
Will be working around Kwun Tong area and hope you could suggest me any area I could scope into? I'm looking at KowLoon Bay now, not sure if it fits me.

Budget about 10k-15k (furnished), clean and safe place to stay.
Size about 300-500 sqft, doesn't really matter as I'm staying alone.
Most importantly is easy to commute to office and food is available.

i) Telford Garden at Kowloon Bay MRT
ii) Ocean Shore at Tiu Keng Leng MRT

and it's MTR...without any information about you other than you want to be able to buy food, how much info can we give?

I enjoy jogging, swimming and gym. Like to spend weekend at bars, meeting new people.
Will you encourage if to stay around WanChai area and commute 30-40mins to work everyday?

well a compromise might be northpoint? cheaper to get back from the nights out on the Island but will make your commute to work about 20 mins...

and you could even take the scenic $5 ferry from Northpoint to Kwun tong as your commute!

Ocean Shores is nice and has a huge club house (no less than 4 pools, 6-lane bowling alley, gym etc.), as well it provides easy access via MTR to HK island and Kwun Tong, and some buses to many places.

Thanks for the reminder, we already know how you despise TKO but as you said before you don't have to live (t)here.
Though if you have any better suggestion, maybe something with 'soul', that may help the OP feel free to post it.

I'm open to any suggestion and would love to look into it other areas as well.

Btw, I believe I have time to look & visit into these area, since I will be provided with temporally accommodation for a month.

@audiot, any suggestion on apartment around Northpoint, where it is near to MTR station.
