how do they not end up killing anyone? window falling a few times a month??? and never a single injury or casualty? how does that work?

They usually hit the podium deck and shatter. There have been some minor injuries.
All you get at ground level are little 1cm glass cubes scattered around. The area below is mostly closed to the public as it’s a works area for road construction relating to the WKT.

Pedestrian access to Elements is closed after one pops out for a while. A telltale sign is when you see white plywood where a window used to be on the arch.
It happens on the other side facing Lin Cheung Rd also.

Are they proactively replacing them, or just waiting for them to 'pop' and then replacing them?

    Probably the latter.

The vibration from the WKT site seems to be getting the blame rather than poor construction of the Arch. What a surprise!
The contractors are pretty careful with vibration monitoring however.

Someone driving piles 40 floors below shouldnt be an issue in a modern building.
If i paid top dollar for an apartment and my windows started popping out, i would be PISSED!

If they blame piling for windows falling out, heaven help them if an earthquake actually hits HK. Which, while it would be rare, is not completely unusual. I've had one that caused windows to rattle and the bed to move in the UK of all places!

Today another 2 windows fell down in Larvotto Tower 3. It is amazing that they don't make a cover for pedestrians below. Crazy dangerous building.

Very scary stuff. I moved nearby Larvotto (it was actually one of the buildings that I considered choosing to rent) only 6 months ago. Apparently 2 windows fell in May 2014. New apartments are pretty shoddily made but falling windows is bad. I'm living at Marinella - the doors are bent which has messed up our door locks (door locks broke into pieces several times due to the shape of the door) and caused numerous headaches.
