Question Moving to HK, 25,000/month budget - good serviced apts in Central/Soho/Sheung Wan/Midlevels?

I'm headed to HK in September, and my company is willing to put me up for 3 months in a serviced apartment with a budget of 25000. I've lived in HK before briefly twice, but have never been looking in this price range before. And unfortunately I won't have a chance to check out the places personally before I go.

Does anyone have any recommendations (from experience) of places in central neighbourhoods that are in this price range?

We stayed in Domus Queen's which is now under some other name (123 Queen's Rd. West). Very friendly/helpful staff, very comfortable bed and bathroom. I didn't like the sofa, but it was all still very comfortable. We had a studio that was 300sq/ft (?) that was, I think, around $25000 a month. Kind of far from central, but it's still a nice location.
There might be some along Hollywood Rd or Tai Ping Shan street, which are really lovely locations. (Sorry this isn't more helpful!)

You have to laugh at the suggestion something on queens rd is far from central. Sounds like you live your life in a 2 block radius.

Try Chi Residences, also in Sheung Wan and have other locations as well. We stayed there and liked it (except glass bathroom which I don't like for personal reasons). Might be at the upper end of your budget though.

SalseroHK: Thanks! Their places in kowlook are in my budget range, I'm not keen on living off the island (judge away!) but the places do look nice. I'll consider it.

Equinox Mercury in Tin Hau maybe not quite in the area u want, but possibly the price range. 4 stops from central on the MTR, or try Sharma serviced apartments, but they may be more expensive.

Well, probably like most people moving to HK looking for a serviced apartment, the company transferring you offers x-amount for a serviced apartment, and you just choose one. Domus (under another name now) 123 Queen's Road West, was one of our options. It might not seem like a bargain (what is in HK?), but we enjoyed our time there and the neighborhood was convenient for commuting. The staff was super, super friendly and helpful. Nice stove in the kitchen, very spacious bathroom/shower. The studio generally felt very spacious and it was cleaned twice weekly. Stupid sofa, but super comfortable bed (in fact when I buy a new mattress soon, I will buy this specific brand/kind).
