    The Legend at Jardine's Lookout

    Hello to everybody,

new here and to hong kong... Have been proposed an apartment at The Legend in Jardine's Lookout. Looks cool but need advise here:
    1) Anybody living there want to share her/his thoughts?
    2) What is the construction area next to the swimming pool about? big building? very noisy?

I would really appreciate your help.

    Luca

I too am interested in The Legend building! Anyone know anything about this place? My husband will be working in the Quarry Bay area and my kids will most likely go to an international school also neary Quarry Bay. This place looks very appealing based on the pictures I saw on HKhomes. We are looking for a moderately spacious (by HK standards) place to live (minimum of 1500 sq ft with 3+ BR). We have a generous housing allowance so price isn't too much of an issue. Any idea how long it would take to get to Quarry Bay and the quickest mode of transportation (bus, MTR, etc.)?

I live in the apartment next to the Legend so I can't comment on the Legend itself (it looks nice from the outside and the photos I've seen, and the Legend is known to be a nice place to live amongst the locals and it is pretty new), but I can comment on transport.

Easiest mode of public transport is green minivan (21M) which has the end stop on Tai Hang Drive (where Legend is) thus is very convienent. 21M goes to Causeway bay, where you can then change to MTR to Quarry Bay (4 stops away).

There are bus stops on Tai Hang Road about 5 mins walk away where you can take a bus towards Central (11) or towards North point (can't remember the number) as well.

Taxis drive down Tai Hang drive often (day and night) as well, and driving in and out of Tai Hang is pretty easy, so long you avoid Happy Valley on race nights.

In general also, there is a Park 'n' Shop international nearby (although it is up a hill or 250 steps), as well as a Marketplace (a bit further away, like 15 mins walk, or 2 mins drive as Marketplace has free parking) for local (supermarket) shopping when needed.
