    By the way, too, there should be some quick minibuses that go from Tin Hau to HKU/Pok Fu Lam rd. (like maybe the 56), and of course the bus to PolyU from there should be 15-30mins depending on Cross Harbour traffic.

    Not the 56 (that terminates on Robinson). There's the 23 big bus. Not sure how fast it is in that direction in the morning.

    Yeah, I'm not exactly sure about the specifics of the routes, but nevertheless, there are minibuses which go between these two general directions (might require just a bit of walking to HKU, and that also depends on where he/she is at HKU). The minibuses can be quite fast. There's also the 31 and 10 which go in the general direction, but again, without the specific locations, it's hard to say if they would be useful.
