Island accommodation advice needed

My friend and I will be moving to HK in Spring/Summer 2014 and are looking for accommodation on the Island as we will both be working in Central. Our budget is around $20k per person so $40k per month in total. Preferably we would want some sort of ocean view. Would this be realistic? Which areas should we be considering? Many thanks!

Super Markets within walking distance. Escalator few minutes away. Public buses from Robinson Road, 2 minutes walk from the building.

Your budget is pretty good. Don t worry about it. Best advice is rent a serviced appartement for 1-2 months and flat hunt with local agents here. You should have plenty of options.
