Thoughts on Grand Promenade?

We've seriously considering a 3br apartment at Grand Promenade. Its a bit further from Central than we'd like, but the amenities (pool, gym, spa, etc) seem to make up for the distance, plus its got a nice new feel to it, and aesthetically it's nice.
We'd appreciate any thoughts/ experience you may offer, especially from current residents.

A few specific questions-
1. Our realtor mentioned there's a big Japanese and Korean community there, is there also some sort of an English-speaking contingency out there?
2. Are there good spots for kids (7 and 8) to run and wear themselves out?

7 and 8 are abit old for the kids room there. but the parks nearby are fairly good to bring them out.
