    No hot water in kitchen

Is it common to have no hot water in kitchens?

I personally find it strange and unbelievable and think the agent is talking crap! But then again, I don't know how the majority of local HK people live. I've mostly lived in newer apartments or those less than 10 years old.

    Still, sounds hard to believe.

probably only 1% of population don't have hot water in kitchen, even very old apartments have it if the apartment has be decorated within the last 10 years

In our place, the heater in the bathroom serves the bathroom and the kitchen. Fairly common.

I think for apartments renovated or re-decorated 10 years or more ago, they may not have connected hot water with the kitchen. I lived in 8 apartments in the last 10 years, most of them dont have hot water in the kitchen...

I had no hot water in the kitchen of my old walk up apt. I used to boil the kettle when I washed up.

I'm guessing low percentage too, but it isn't common right?
There's water heater serving 2 bathrooms but apparently not for the kitchen.

I've been told previous tenants lived there for 15 years. Landlord has newly renovated whole kitchen except strangely without water heater. Building is around 24 years old, not walk-up building.

Our kitchen doesn't have hot water either. We have to use the kettle for hot water. A bit of a PITA but we can cope.

Imparonic with his made-up statistics again non-shocka!

I have hot water in the kitchen, but I imagine I could live without it.. I wouldn't consider it a deal breaker

I have no hot water in the kitchen either, so I have to use a non-transparent kettle for heating water for washing up.
