What it like living in Tuen Mun
What it like living in Tuen Mun
foreign country, need a special visa to go there LOL
Contact INXS he will give you all the details off how great it is to live in TUEN MUN. I actually grew up there as a young lad and it was a great place.
Hi thanks for your reply ....in the meantime I did look at other posts on the forum
and to be honest it sound great. I have just moved to HK for work and my wife and I are looking to live there.....I did spend last thursday up there and from what I saw it was fine....the MRT from quarry bay on HK Island only took me 1 hour 10mins
Here's a poem I wrote a few years ago...
My Tuen Mun
Her home is the valley,
Her heart is the sea,
Twixt mountain, river and ocean,
Her beauty calls to me.
Golden sands at Castle Bay,
Emerald forest on Castle Peak,
'tis the jewel in Hong Kong's crown,
Of which today I speak.
You can see it in the markets,
On the modern silver trams,
From expat playground Gold Coast,
On up to Lam Tei Dam.
No shining lights,
No smog filled streets,
No Hong Kong or Kowloon,
Give me peace and tranquility,
My home, beloved Tuen Mun....
Don't let INXS scare you off with that horrific poem. Tuen Mun is fine. If you don't mind being miles and miles and miles away from HK Island, you can't go too far wrong in a place like Tuen Mun.
