    HSBC HK tell me they do not lend against Macau SAR or Shenzhen SEZ properties.

    As a long shot try HSBC Expat in HK, Jack Guest used to be the contact.

    When I was trying to fund an overseas property both HSBC London and HK were useless, but Expat came up with the goods quickly and efficiently at very good rates.

    Thanks for the thoughts.

    I presume Hong Kong Permanent Residents have to pay Macau Additional buyer stamp duty on property?

    i.e. at 10% additional stamp duty
