Just discovered that most of the big HK banks have mortgage valuations online and was just wondering if anyone knew how accurate and up-to-date they were (i.e. are they a good indication of how the bank will value a property?). Reason I'm asking is that I found a huge difference between valuations for a property I've been eyeing. Know that valuations can differ between banks, but the differences I found online today were as much as 20percent.
