    TungChung - Good for living??

Expats (& Locals too) comments on TungChung.

    - No international primary school in Tung Chung. Non-Chinese children have to travel across districts and endure long journeys to get to school.
    - No hospital in Tung Chung. The Govt. plan to have one in 2012.
    - No 24 hour out-patient services in Tung Chung. The outpatient services are provided by privare health centre and its services are closed at 11:45PM. after which Tung Chung is an isolated island.
    - Short supply of Dental services
    - There will be new high rise buildings in zones 54,55 and 56 in Tung Chung. Thus in future one can expect huge drop on sale price for existing properties.
    - The maintenance for public spaces are paying by property owners. Thus end up with high management fee.
    - The Hong Kong-Zuhai-Macau bridge will create more problems of air pollution as the Govt. plan to have spur line on North Lantau Higway. It adds to existing aircrafts' pollutions.
    - The rentals are increasing and will reach same as in city.
