    Looking for 2BR 7-10K / 600sqf- any advice?

    Hello guys

My name is steve and my gf and I are looking for a place serviced appmnt or rental kowloon side. I work P.Edward, she is at airport. Had people say live in Tsing Yi / Lai King / Gold Coast. Any advice greatly appreciated. Budget is 7-10k, don't mind 30-40min commute and pool/guard facilities would be a bonus. Is it possible in this price range for 600-800 sqft?

Thanks for your help in advance. All veiws and opinions are welocmed.

    Thanks all very much

Sham Tseng is good but no service apartments here that I know of

3 Jordan Rd requires a minimum of six month lease - the place is about 3 years old and is furnished and extremely convenient - worth looking at.

Apartment in Jordan Road, 3 佐敦道三號, Jordan Road, Jordan

    Horizon Harbourfront in Hung Hom
There maybe some good things in Tung Chung

Tonight a friend of mine commented on a colleague who lives in DB takes the bus to Sunny Bay and is in Prince Edward in 30 minutes to 45 minutes from leaving the house.

A work friend of ours explored the serviced apartment route, about 6 months ago, photo's taken ( above ) of what $13,800 gets you at the Gold Coast. One of the C or D pool facing 700ft2 2BR serviced apartments. The same size apartment non serviced btw, is $9000 per month. It might be worth considering buying some furniture as you go, and hiring a part time maid to drop in twice a week for a couple of hours each. Better than paying $6,000 extra, for their second hand furniture, etc etc . But I can understand if you only plan to live there for less than 14 months, short term etc, i understand that that might be why you are considering a serviced apartment.. But if its for a full residential contract term, there are better alternatives.
    Hong Kong Gold Coast Residences

Our work friend ended up getting a 3BR balcony 1400ft2 apartment with beach/park views inc car park in the end ( for the same price as the 700ft serviced apartment that didnt have a car park inc ), 10 minutes walk from the Gold Coast, non serviced. He sourced his own Shambala / Tequila Kola solid timber furniture via the classifieds, that will retain most of what he paid used. When its time to leave, he'll get most of that money back, as he purchased quality pieces, that are sought after. His view from the lounge, master bedroom and one of his spare bedrooms, now home office below.

It will take a little bit of work of course, but you end up saving a considerable sum, while increasing the quality of your living space....

Transport to Prince Edward and the Airport is 30-40 minutes, which is within your commute time range....
