Apartment with access to Olympic and Sheung Wan

Hi! looking to rent an apartment with public transport (preferably MTR) to Olympic and Sheung Wan stations.
We have a budget of 18,000 and looking for a new enough building if possible.
Really appreciate any suggestions on a few areas to start looking,
    Thanks!

Go to Olympic and walk around and talk to the agencies. 18-20k will get you a 2 bed 400-450 sq ft flat. In Sheung wan, you will likely get a <300 sq ft studio and old building.

Most 2 bedroom units in Olympic are at least 600 sq ft. Unless you are talking about actual usable space?

Thanks, was looking around olympic today, seems a nice area but a bit sterile/business-like. Would prefer somewhere with a small bit more shops/restaurants.

Look on the other side of Olympic, specifically Ivy Street side. Plenty of restaurants and shops.

More shops / restaurants? Did you go to the right place? Between Phases 1 - 3 Olympic has over 300 shops and dozens of restaurants. Not to mention a large food court, a cinema, banks and a huge supermarket. There's also an outdoor 'food garden' with some bars and western restaurants with outside seating.

Some nice parks nearby as well such as Cherry Street Park and the waterfront Promenade by One Silver Sea.

You can also get cross-harbour buses that go through the Western Harbour Tunnel from KT/SYP that go straight to Kowloon Station/Olympic areas. Although not sure how far $18K goes in those areas if OP wants a flat in a new building.
