How much are your water bills at home on a 4 monthly basis? And for what sort of consumption level?
Why are water bills in Hong Kong so inexpensive compared to other countries? I have a bill for 45 cubic metres for HKD224.

My bill has been $0.00 now for more than 10 years, in two different flats. You are right, water is too cheap, and this encourages people to waste it.
The water services department is wholly owned by the government of the HKSAR?
I understand all water in HK is "Soft" in terms of the level of calcium carbonate dissolved. Is there therefore no problem with lime scale in appliances etc? Thanks
It's considered soft, but there is still CaCO3 in it. Still have to descale the old kettle once in a while.
im paying around HK$600 something each quarter, no frigging idea how my mrs and the helper is using that much frigging water FFS. our toilet flushing is fresh water also.
These prices are an absolute bargain compared to Thames water in the UK
