How to check if an apartment is haunted?

Hi all,

Have been househunting on the Island and after hearing some horror stories from people, we're going to include "haunted" on the checklist along with pests, leaks and mold... (Specific story was that someone moved in and "fled" after a couple weeks, leaving behind all his furniture and appliances, after being disturbed every night)

What's a good way to check? The online sites that provide the information don't seem to list the exact unit? Most of the places I viewed are currently vacant, so there doesn't seem a way to check with the previous tenant.

Don't want to sign a lease only to have to break it.

I haven't tried this but I believe that if the flat is listed as a ghost place then it would be recorded on the land search and also you can check the bank valuation. I heard banks won't have a value for ghost flats online. If we know of one then we should check it out to see if this is accurate or not.
