Conveyancing costs for selling flat

Hi,
How much are the conveyancing costs for selling or buying a property of about HK$10m
Have looked on line but seems to be no information - looking for a rough guide so as to not get too ripped of by lawyers

Selling or buying?

If you're selling, go back to the lawyer you used when you bought and negotiate a fixed price. I have forgotten what we have paid... was not a significant amount

if it is a normal deal as standard doc/covenant , it could be vary from couple thousands hkd to more by some lawyer firms.
then half percent of the property value for the property agents commission.
also gov levy.
i remember the first apartment we bought we paid only hkd3000 for the lawyer.

I just engaged one at 7k, didn't really bother to negotiate but I think 6k they would have done it

But do note that these are done by conveyancing clerk of a law firm. I am quite familiar with the legal stuff so all I needed was a clerk to run errands for me, but still she bothers to explain all the terms of the agreement etc etc
