    Walk up in Wanchai, ey? Have you walked up to the other floors to check if there are any pretty ladies? Might make the decision easier

    for the size of place you are considering and want to pay it might be better using a serviced apartment

    I considered it, but I have not found any big enough and below 25K.

    I would go for the newer building. More quiet area as well plus Wanchai, the the end of the day, is the 'hood. Its an expat vice ghetto IMO. If getting drunk and chasing SE Asian whores is your thing then stick to Wanchai. It sounds like its not your daily routine so go with the newer crib IMO.

    check broadband availability on both buildings.

    whichever one has more of the following wins:

    PCCW, HKBN, i-Cable, Hutchison, Smartone, CMHK

    I could think of some less important factors for consideration on where to live, but I'd really have to work at it.
