    Moving from a walk-up to a walk-up

Moving from a 5/F to a 4/F in same area. Don't need packing service, just lifting, manoeuvring and the van. Has anyone used a professional movers for a high walk-up to walk-up move? Could you share roughly what you paid? Were there any hidden extras on the day?

Lots of advice on moving on this forum but seem to be mostly walk-up to building with lift, or vice versa. I'm looking into getting quotes but a) scared it'll be crazy money and b) don't have a move date yet.

    Thanks!

If you give me your location I can let you know of a contact who does this kind of thing. Local guy (actually mainland who speaks canto), nice, friendly, smiles and is cheap. (moving from walk up to walk up is NEVER cheap and rightly so)

As for cost, if you list all your belongings we can compare pricing,

    other wise.......

Hiring some Filipino guys for the lifting and a GOGOX van would be cheap.
