The Harbourview Place / Four Seasons Place / Pacific Place Apartment

I will be transferred to Hong Kong and working in Central (IFC2) in April and my company will give me 45K housing allowanace. Last week I have been to Hong Kong for house hunting and have visited the above serviced apartments. The HR persons told me that these are the best one in town in term of service, facilities and provisions. After the visits, I still have not make up my mind yet, do you guys have any advices on this?

Below are some of my findings:

    The HarbourView Place
    - the larger room size for my budget
    - new and nice view, all are on high floor
    - very special pool on rooftop which I never experience before
    - a golf driving range nearby (I like golf a lot!)
    - but at Kowloon side (somewhere above the Airport Express station & the MTR subway) which I don't know much about and have a tallest building called ICC next by.

    Four Seasons Place
    - brillant view, can see the whole Kowloon and Hong Kong side
    - very close to my office
    - five stars service
    - very nice gym and pool too
    - size of the room is relatively smaller with same rate

    Pacific Place Apartment
    - Design is modern
    - one stop of MTR from Central
    - lots of hotels nearby
    - View is no good and with lots of building nearby
    - facilities are not as good as the other 2 apartments

I need to make my decision and reply my HR by early March, your comments and advices are appreciated for helping me to make the decision.

    Many thanks.

its a no-brainer to me - FSP all the way. first off, its a stone's throw from ur office, and once u move here u will see, convenience is everything.
i stayed at the fsp when i first moved here a few months ago and can personally vouch for incredible service, other than the facilities, view, and luxury that u have probably witnessed already.

the only thing is that the 1 br there might be a little above your budget - but if there ever was a time to bargain, its right about now.

FSP and PP have dropped to 45K? I'd be surprised.. thought the basic apartments there went for 60+.

Wow, if Four Seasons Place has dropped to 45 you should definitely stay there. Am with Wildwildeast, it's a no brainer. We stayed there for 2 months and it's fantastic. Great location. Great Service. Great food. Great fit out.

I think that HVP is worth it if only for Elements, which I generally prefer to IFC. However, catching the train at Kowloon Station in the morning can be a pain, and the food options in IFC are better, IMHO. If FSP is the same rate, and if you're not already a big fan of Kowloon, you should really go with FSP instead.

Why take the mtr when you can walk a couple of minutes and be in your office?

I see lots of comments from you guys and it really helpful. Just to clarify that Four Seasons one is a Stuido unit on high floor facing the unbeatable view while Harbourview Place offer me a one bedroom facing Harbour too. I just got an email from my HR that my company has several staff living at both properties and I have emailed them to ask for their experience. Will share with you guys when they send me some feedbacks.

Many thanks for all your kindness.

I have friends who have been living in Four Seasons Place for 4 years. We'd had enough after a couple of months but only because we were there with a child and another on the way. For a single or couple it's fantastic.
