Goldwin Heights, Palatial Crest, Casa Bella

Does anyone stay in any of these buildings and have any opinions, positive or negative? In particular do you know anything about the construction next to Goldwin Heights? The apartment we looked at seemed to have a premium on the rent for the view, but if the view is going to disappear in 6mths time once the block being built gets higher, it will of course not be worth paying for the view.

I live just up the road. The new building there has been subject to legal challenges but, as usual, the property developers have prevailed and it's going to be a big one (50-odd floors I believe) so I wouldn't bank on that view.

I did... that's why I'm arguing with my agent right now... she didn't tell me anything and unfortunately I didn't figure out by myself... guess it's all experience but I won't give up!

That's unfortunate! I guess it depends how much is left on your lease and if you have a break clause? If you have a break clause in a year then you will probably only have no view for a few months.
