Need Help with Accomodation...Single Guy

Hi All,
I have been member of GeoExpat for only 1 month but i am proud to say that so far i have found it to be the most informative site.

Anyways i am 29 Yrs old Single guy moving from India to HK. Joined a clothing company so my work place is in Kwon Tong area. I have done research and saw couple of listings in Lam Tim area which kind of match my budget.

But on the other side i am a very social person and love to go out. Maybe less on weekdays and more on weekends. Any suggestions friends... ohh ya i will be making 40,000 HKD/Month but dont want to spend lot of money on housing maybe between 6-8K..want to save money to pay for my bar bills...lol!

Also i am looking to meet new people..completely new to HK...so looking for friends with whom i can hangout and pretty much get drunk with...

Would be great to hear from people on there thoughts...

Laguna City has quite a few Indians living their and you should be able to find an apartment their for your budget, walking distance to Kwun Tong.
