    Southside for 8-10K? Pipe dream?

    Hey all,

Am going to be working near Aberdeen and need to be in work early

As I hate getting up too early, looks like Southside might suit me best...can anyone recommend areas near here that are serviced well by public transport..I would consider Kennedy if I knew there were decent buses...

Also, prefer something not in Central as it's too busy...I like greenery if possible!

Budget is 8-10K, but may share to bring that down....I know it won't be too hot a place...

    (PS not in HK yet)

    Thank you!

the most obvious things that comes to my mind is : Aberdeen

There are plenty of places for 8-10K

Very well connected to transport, lots of shops and character in an old established neighborhood.

I second the Aberdeen Sham Wan and will add South Horizons (Ap Lei Chau) and Chi Fu (Pokfulam) to the list of recommendations.

By the way, over the years we've seen an increasing number of westerners living in Aberdeen...

SH and CF would likely be more than 10K.

Ok, I just assumed there would be smaller units in the 8-10K range in those two places.

Check out the Lamma ferry timetable - that *might* work (or not) and you'd certainly get cheap and green.

CF may have some "untouched" units at that price. But I think SH is more than that.

Okay, that sounds very positive, and at the least, do-able.
Thanks so much for your time people!
