I have been looking as well- although I may only have 1 large suitcase, and everything is looking quite expensive.
If anyone can recommend a cheap mover I would also appreciate it. (Although I may go get a quote from the Hong Kong Post Office)
Seven Seas has never let me down. They'd probabaly do it for a few thousand HKD. Their website has a useful instant quote system as well.
Whatever you do, don't use Columbia. I used them for shipping from HK to the U.S. They did a great job on packing, but they were deceitful when it came to money. They told us that the quote included all administrative fees for both ends - HK and US. What was not included were taxes imposed by US custom, which was understandable. When our shipment arrived, the US agent for Columbia charged us an additional $300 for administrative fee and another $30 for using an elevator. We did not want to pay, but they held our goods as ransom. We complained to Columbia and as of today we never received a reply from any of the staff.
My company ships a lot of goods to China everyday. We use a company called SF express. To shanghai.. For packages under 8kg, First kg is $45.00 HKD + $16.00/kg. For packages over 8 kg. First kg is $45.00 HKD + $26.00/kg. So, if you pack under 8kg it's much cheaper. For textile items, they do not recommand us packing over 12kg. I'm not sure if it's the case for books and personal items. Takes around 1 to 2.5 days to get to shanghai. **warning, do not put anything fragiile in your box. Chinese courier company aren't Fedex or DHL, they WILL throw your stuff around**
Try SF express, if it's too complicated I'll see if I have other courier companys to suggest.

I used "Allied Pickford", they were excellent. You will find there is something of a cut throat competition for clients amongst moving companies these days so you can bargain for a good deal.
I was very pleased with Allied they were cheap and completely professional even giving me two week free extra storage the other end as I wasn't ready to collect.
Books weigh a ton so they will use reinforced boxes.
I can't recommend one, but I can advise you not to use Relocasia. We just got our stuff back from storage and everything was ruined by mold. They took no responsibility for it and were even told to f...off.
