childcare centres for babies in HK?

    Hi,
We are moving to HK and have a 5 month old baby. I have been looking for child care options in HK over internet and have found all the results for nannies. I prefer childcare centers as opposed to nannies as in childcare centers there are lot of professionals around and chances of anything going wrong may be less. Can anyone suggest any good childcare centers in and around quarry bay area and share their experiences if any?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Because of the number of nannies available the market hasn't really adopted to day care as commonly as you see it in other countries. As a result you're finding them few and far between. I know some pre-schools have programs for younger babies, but generally they require someone to be with the baby (i.e. mother, helper) and it is only for a very short period of time, an hour or two.

You can hire very professional nannies, some with many years experience dealing with infants and the such. For a little more money you can hire a 'live out' if space is short in your new apartment and she'll come by daily for xx hours of care.

But check the other boards mentioned as folks might have some more direct experience finding some care.
