Yes start looking now because many schools have waiting lists. Delia School of Canada is in Tai Koo. Cost is about HK$80,000 per year.

I would also recommend Delia as it would be quite close and by you user name, I would guess you are probably South Asian and there's a very nice community of South Asians attending that school which sometimes makes it easier to integrate. You shouldn't have too much trouble getting in at Delia, they like their $$$.

If you want something that's higher end then go for HKIS or an ESF school...

ESF in Quarry Bay is an option. Having said that, I suspect it would be difficult to find a vacant slot.

Thanks all for replies. Can someone explain what's the process to get admitted in schools? Can I apply before landing in HK?

All schools (international) have their own application process, criteria and waiting lists - it is a pain! So google the websites and look at the Admissions sections for details, then you will need to ring the schools to find out how long the waiting lists are for that age group, whether interview/exam is required(yes even for a 6 year old) etc etc. There is no centralised application system apart from ESF, but that is only centralised when the children are starting either primary or high school, not for joining throughout. Good luck and hope you get a place in your preferred school.
