Hello,

I would be very appreciative of any advice you could share...

I am moving from New York to Hong Kong in January...However, I need to have my things picked up by November 27th...Once I arrive in Hong Kong, my plan is to stay in a serviced apartment until I can find a permanent place to live...So I approx I won't need my belongings until the end of January...

Can anyone reccomend a relocation or moving company that can pick up my goods on November 27th, ship them, and then store them until approx the end of January?

Just moved here from NYC to HK back in Octorber. My firm used Santa Fe and they are excellent. They shipped part of my everyday items by air, it took 3 days , and the rest of the heavy furniture /winter clothes by sea... it took 5 weeks.

You should consider selling all your electronics ( or put them into a storage) because HK has 220v while NYC has 110v. it took me a while to find the converter - it is heavy and not cheap.. about $30 for two outlet. Now I am using that for my computer monitor and speakers that I brought from NYC.
